Junior Architectural Draftsperson

ABOUT THE ROLE.
Join the team as an Junior Architectural Draftsperson and become instrumental in the design and development of our commercial projects. You will have a unique ability to grow within a growing business. Involved in the initial concept and briefing phase, you will work closely with the team to create spaces that truly reflect the client. Together with our Documentation Technician, you will make selections and design the space to be documented, working closely with consultants, suppliers and builders through to the delivery of the project.
REQUIREMENTS.
High level of organisational skills, allowing you to manage multiple and competing deadlines
A warm, energetic, and positive creative thinker
High level of proficiency in REVIT
Minimum 2 years experience in commercial architecture
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively
High attention to detail is a must!
DUTIES.
Design and documentation in REVIT
Liaise with consultants and suppliers
Collaborate with team members on a daily basis
Details, call outs and specifications all to be documented in REVIT
Joinery documentation
Design delivery including defects reports
Proficient in BIM
SKILLS & EXPERIENCE.
2+ years of experience in commercial architecture
Tertiary degree
REVIT, autoCAD
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Willingness to collaborate
Positive attitude and passion for design is essential
Ability to be agile and shift from project to project in the nature of commercial interior design
