We are on the lookout for a Junior Donor Acquisition Specialist - Digital to join the team and support us in executing and managing digital fundraising campaigns.
We are looking for someone to be based preferably in Auckland, but candidates from Wellington and Christchurch are also welcome to apply.
As the Junior Donor Acquisition Specialist - Digital, you will assist our team in optimising our digital activities, to help attract and acquire new donors. You will be instrumental in enhancing UNICEF Aotearoa’s digital presence and expanding it’s donor base through innovative and effective digital outreach.
Your responsibilities include:
Assist in planning and executing multi-channel digital campaigns (Google, Social Media, Display, Radio, Audio, Video, DOOH, OOH and TV) focused on donor acquisition and digital fundraising.
Conduct keyword research and help optimise website content to improve search engine rankings and visibility.
Support the creation of SEO-friendly content, including blogs, landing pages, and meta descriptions.
Gather and analyse performance data from digital campaigns, contributing to performance reports for the Donor Acquisition Senior Specialist (Digital).
Work closely with content and creative teams to ensure all digital assets align with campaign goals and SEO best practices.
Assist in creating and updating digital content for various platforms, ensuring consistency in messaging and branding on digital channels.
Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to facilitate the smooth execution of digital marketing campaigns.
As the successful candidate, you will have:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
3-5 years of experience in digital marketing, with an understanding of SEO, digital fundraising, and/or eCommerce.
Experiences with digital marketing tools (Google Ads, Facebook Ads Manager, Google Analytics) and SEO platforms.
Ability to interpret and analyse data from Google Analytics to make informed decisions and optimise campaigns.
Experience in setting up and managing tags, triggers, and variables in GA and GTM to measure user interactions and track website activities effectively.
Excellent time management and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Attention to detail, flexibility, and reliability.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
