About the job:
To support the Global Credit and UK GM COO based in London, in:
the design, development and execution of the relevant GM & Credit (the Business) strategy, budgets and business plans
monitoring unit activity, results and positioning, with focus on providing enough resources to achieve the Business’ goals
collaboration with control & support functions to achieve and maintain operational excellence for the Business, including proposing and implementing process improvement solutions
The candidate should possess:
Qualifications:
2-5 years industry experience, preferably in global markets or global banking within international investment banks or equivalent financial institutions
Basic understanding of trade & client lifecycles and front-to-back flows
Good working knowledge of email, excel / Google sheet, analytical & presentation applications, data visualisation tools and general productivity toolkit. Additional beneficial skills include familiarity with Google work suite and process automation & coding skills
Fluency in English. Spanish language skills and knowledge (reading & writing) a plus.
Soft skills:
Execution-oriented with a strong client (external & internal) focus
Ability to operate in a fast-paced environment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a proactive and collaborative working style
Ability to navigate complex, matrixed organisational structures and work across all levels within an organisation.
Cultural fluency and adaptability to work across local & international location.
Self-motivated and able to work independently, demonstrating initiative.
Highly analytical with a problem-solving mindset, capable of applying lateral thinking to identify innovative solutions.
