The Opportunity: Junior Graphic Designer
We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented and enthusiastic Junior Graphic Designer to join our dynamic Marketing and Communications team. This entry-level role is perfect for someone who is passionate about design and is eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Together with a senior graphic designer, you’ll help bring the WinSport brand to life across a range of digital and print materials, supporting everything from internal communications to public-facing campaigns and major events.
Key Responsibilities
Design visual assets including social media graphics, print collateral, signage, web graphics, and promotional materials
Collaborate with the Marketing & Communications team to assist in creating and maintaining brand consistency across all marketing materials
Ensure all designs are consistent with WinSport's branding guidelines and standards.
Support the development of campaigns and special projects with creative input and design execution
Prepare production-ready files for print and digital use
Maintain organized file management and asset libraries
Stay current with design trends and tools to keep our visuals fresh and modern
Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute innovative ideas to enhance our visual communication strategies.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
Qualifications & Skills
Post-secondary education in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field
1–2 years of experience in a design role (internships or freelance work welcome)
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat)
Knowledge of Canva and/or Figma is an asset
Knowledge of web design and development processes, HTML/CSS understanding is a plus.
Basic knowledge of web and social media design best practices
Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Good communication and collaboration skills
Passion for sport, recreation, and community engagement is a bonus!
