The purpose of this position is to assist the Lead Graphic Designer with day-to-day responsibilities of creating and printing custom wine labels, signage, and print materials alongside creating meaningful and interactive social media posts for the Martin's brand. This position collaborates with all departments to curate compelling social media content that connects and engages audiences.
The position is required to stop in the office daily, with exceptions for sick days and flexibility tor work from home on a situational basis. This is not a remote position.
Junior Graphic Designer/Social Media Specialist Responsibilities:Design and print wine lists, table tents and menus for Wines UnlimitedDesign and print custom wine labels for wholesale accounts with Wines UnlimitedAssist the Lead Graphic Designer and Events Coordinator with various design or marketing projectsAssist with designing, printing, laminating and cutting signs for Bienville Office, Retail (Martin's) and Wholesale (Wines Unlimited)Maintain and grow the Social Media presence across various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, etc.) by working with our team to execute an effective social media planOversee all social media inquiries, comments and questions across all platformsAttend tastings and visit retail stores to create Video content and Photography across platformsJunior Graphic Designer/Social Media Specialist Qualifications:Education: Associates degree or some college required, bachelor's degree preferred; submitting experience portfolio preferredExperience: One (1) year of related experience preferredSkills: Adobe Creative Suite - Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Premiere (AfterEffects or Animate skills are not required, but an advantage); Excellent knowledge of current social media best practices, as well as digital content creation is required (Video and Photography)Must be familiar with Google Docs, Sheets, and DrivePLEASE NOTE: Resume and digital portfolio must be included for considerationJunior Graphic Designer/Social Media Specialist Benefits:Company Culture focused on team, open communication and ongoing sharing of ideasMedical/Dental/Vision InsuranceLife/Long Term Disability Insurance401(k) and 401(k) MatchingEmployee discountPaid time offPaid trainingPM22
