Position: Junior Interior Designer
Type: Full-time
Location: Manali, Himachal Pradesh, India

Founded in 2020 by Sherab Tharbus, TharbusDesigns is an Interior design and visualization firm based out of Manali, Himachal Pradesh, India. TD's vision is to introduce people to the beauty of a well designed functional aesthetically rich space and the happiness it can bring for years while keeping the Himalayan aesthetics alive, amalgamated seamlessly with a hint of European twist.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Support senior designer with client profiling, concept boards and design drafts
• Responsible for end-to-end project management
• Produce technical files with great attention to details
• Sketchup modeling
• Create sourcing plans and detailed schedules for finishes, furniture and electrical
• Will be managing at least 2 end-to-end projects at a time. Must have great time management skills
REQUIREMENTS:
• Proficient in AutoCAD
• Advance skills in SketchUp
• Must know the basic rules of interior technical drawings (lineweights, text size etc) in order to produce clear legible industry standard drawings
• Must know the basics of electrical planning
• Self-starter and problem solver
• Strict and punctual on deadlines
We believe that our workplace needs to be less professional, more friendly so we aim to achieve a flat structure within the team. You will be working closely with the the principal designer, somedays even teaching her a few things here and there. Design is a very collaborative process and we strongly believe in letting everyone in the team have their own unique voice.
