Job Description
First-Level Support: Provide timely technical support and troubleshooting for IT issues (hardware, software, network, etc.) via phone, email, or remote support tools.
Incident Management: Log and manage support requests in the incident management system, ensuring resolution within Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
User Support: Assist employees with password resets, software installation, and troubleshooting common computer issues.
System Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and updates on hardware and software to ensure system stability and security.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of user queries, resolutions, and technical procedures to improve knowledge sharing across the team.
Escalation Management: Identify and escalate complex issues to higher-level IT teams or specialized departments when needed.
User Training: Provide end-user training on IT tools, applications, and basic troubleshooting techniques to improve productivity and reduce recurring issues.
Collaboration: Work closely with other IT teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to networking, applications, and systems.
Security Awareness: Assist in enforcing company IT policies, including security protocols, and help ensure compliance with cybersecurity best practices.
Key Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred).
Experience: 1-3 years of experience in IT support or service desk roles (entry-level or with some experience).
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Microsoft Windows and Office 365.
Familiarity with common hardware and software troubleshooting.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify issues quickly and provide solutions.
Customer Service Orientation: A friendly and professional attitude toward internal and external customers.
