Junior Systems Engineer - Infinity Group Australia
Locations: 1 x Melbourne (Cremorne) & 1 x Sydney (Norwest)
Structure: Full-time | On-site | Monday–Friday (9am–5pm). As this is a full-time, on-site role. Work-from-home arrangements are not available.
Salary: $70,000 - $75,000 + super

The Role
We’re expanding our internal IT function and are looking for two Junior Systems Engineers — one based in Cremorne (Melbourne) and one in Norwest (Sydney).
This role is ideal for someone early in their IT career who wants to move beyond basic help desk work and gain exposure to systems engineering within a fast-growing financial services organisation.
You’ll work closely with our CTO and broader IT team (based out of our Gold Coast HQ), primarily supporting daily operations in your dedicated office location, while helping maintain and improve systems across interstate offices.
Key Responsibilities
Support and administration of Microsoft 365, including Entra ID & Exchange
Provide clear, customer-focused technical support to internal teams
Manage IT assets across Windows and Apple devices, including macOS and iOS
Troubleshoot hardware, software, and peripheral issues
Test, document, and improve IT processes and workflows
Assist with maintaining secure, reliable, and scalable IT systems
Skills & Experience
12+ months’ experience in an IT Technician, Help Desk, or Junior IT role
Strong working knowledge of Windows, macOS, and iOS
Solid working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Jira ticketing (preferred)
Excellent understanding of PCs, laptops, printers, and peripherals
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Clear communication skills — able to explain technical issues simply
IT diploma, TAFE qualification, or equivalent practical experience
