Hi there, welcome to M H Marketing and Design!
I currently run a one-person operation, providing marketing and design services to clients. As the business expands, I’m looking for someone to assist with content creation during client shoots.
Responsibilities
The role will initially focus on content creation during client shoots, with the potential to evolve into supporting client account management as we grow.
You’ll be responsible for producing engaging, high-quality content that can be applied to multiple platforms to help local businesses enhance their online presence, attract customers, and boost brand visibility.
You will always be provided with content plans and shoot structures, but I’m looking for someone eager to show enthusiasm and contribute any ideas they may have to the process.
Essential Requirements
• Must be based in Cardiff or willing to travel here regularly
• 1-2 years of experience in Marketing and/or content creation
• Decent understanding of digital marketing
• Must be socially savvy and stay up to date with current trends
• A portfolio demonstrating your ability to create engaging, high-quality content
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Confidence in working with clients and being client-facing, with the potential to become a key point of contact
• Ability to adapt to different brand styles and industries
• Ability to work independently and bring creative ideas to the process
• Own equipment for content creation (many tasks can be completed using an iPhone)
Desired Requirements
• A degree in marketing
• Experience with social media management and platform-specific strategies
• Familiarity with basic video editing and marketing tools
• Interest in growing with the business and taking on more responsibilities in client account management
• Ability to drive and have access to your own vehicle for travel
Benefits and Compensation
• £14 per hour
• Flexible working hours
• Paid lunch on any shoots over 6 hours
• Work from wherever you feel most comfortable (home, coffee shop—you decide)
• Monthly check-ins for support and feedback
