Roles and Responsibilities:
• Perform CAD modeling and iteration of product designs
• Apply fundamental mechanical engineering principles along with testing data to improve designs
• Fabrication of prototypes for design validation and testing
• Creation of engineering drawings to be shared with vendors
Requirements:
• Good understanding of basic physics and mechanical engineering concepts
• Knowledge and hands-on experience on CAD tools
• Sound knowledge and practical experience of mechanical fabrication processes
• Understanding of product design lifecycle, including FMEA and DFM
• Understanding of drawing symbols, GD & T
• Must be proficient in design, modelling, assembly and drafting
Good to have skills:
• Knowledge of 3d printing and experience of slicing softwares
• Sound knowledge and practical experience of mechanical fabrication processes
