We’re looking for a creative, detail-oriented Photographer & Content Creator to bring our vision to life and tell our story through captivating visuals.
Role Description
As our Photographer & Content Creator, you will be the visual storyteller of Shay. Your primary responsibility will be to create high-quality photos, videos, and social media content that highlight our products and brand aesthetics. From product photography to behind-the-scenes content and campaign visuals, you’ll play a vital role in shaping the brand's digital presence and customer connection.
Key Responsibilities
Photography & Videography
• Plan and execute creative product photoshoots for e-commerce, social media, and marketing campaigns.
• Create lifestyle and flat-lay photography that aligns with the brand's aesthetic.
• Capture short-form video content (Reels, TikToks, and ads) for digital platforms.
• Edit and retouch photos/videos to ensure professional quality.
Content Creation
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop engaging content strategies.
• Create scroll-stopping content for Instagram, Pinterest, and other social media platforms.
• Stay on top of trends to incorporate innovative ideas into campaigns.
Creative Direction
• Assist in brainstorming creative concepts and visual narratives for campaigns.
• Ensure consistency in brand aesthetics and tone across all content.
• Coordinate with stylists, models, and other vendors during photoshoots.
Asset Management
• Organize and maintain a library of photos, videos, and creative assets.
• Optimize images and videos for web use without compromising quality.
Skills & Qualifications:
• Proven experience in photography and videography, preferably in product or lifestyle brands.
• Proficiency in photo and video editing software (Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, etc.).
• Strong sense of aesthetics with an eye for detail and composition.
• Experience in creating social media content, including Reels and short-form videos.
• Understanding of branding and storytelling through visuals.
• Familiarity with social media platforms and trends (Instagram, Pinterest, TikTok, etc.).
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work independently or collaboratively.
