THE ROLE
Quality Assurance team is responsible for ensuring quality in software engineering and service management system processes. It ensures that developed software/service meets and complies with the defined or standardized quality specifications. Process Quality Assurance is an ongoing process within the Product Organization that routinely checks the developed software/service to ensure it meets the desired quality measures.
Key Responsibilities
Expertise ITIL process in incident management, problem management, change management and release management
Proactively works to identify process improvements to track and improve data quality
Taking ownership and responsibility for overall quality of deliverables.
To establish strong working relationships with selected business functions enabling strong communication and expectation management
Assists in providing training support, development, implementation and evaluation
Conduct periodic audits to check the process adherence. Has to give feedback to Delivery Team about their specific quality issues.
Collect and analyze data. Identify and share best practices.
Implements on-going quality improvement processes working with various departments
Develop and maintain tools, templates, and methodologies to support the execution and implementation of Org. policies and standards
Training
Guide/Train teams in understanding QMS.
Training the teams on the technical documents usage
