Essential:
M.Tech. or equivalent in Materials/Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering with projects/Experience in Aerospace Materials
Desirable:
Understanding of the working of gas turbine engines
Good analytical skills and proficiency in C or C++, Python or MATLAB, and FEM-based software
Strong fundamentals in numerical methods
Excellent writing and communication skills
Additional skills (Optional):
Candidates with GATE/CSIR/UGC NET qualification will be preferred.
Experimental skills related to processing ceramics.
Experience with materials characterization.
Monthly Stipend Payable :
Rs. 31,000/- Per Month (Consolidated). Accommodation in the Institute campus is likely to be available on payment basis. In addition to the monthly stipend, Medical facilities limited to MI Room facilities will be extended to the incumbent.
Upper Age-Limit : Not to exceed 28 Years. The crucial date for determining the upper age-limit is 0+ June 2026. Upper age-limit is relaxable up to 05 years in case of candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes & Scheduled Tribes, Women and PH and up to 03 years in case of candidates belonging to OBC.
Tenure : The position is purely temporary and is for a period of 12 Months OR co-terminus with the project, whichever is earlier.
