You will work with an established network of institutional equity investor clients on the RBC platform to drive and further develop our expanding domestic and global platform.

What is the opportunity?
Great opportunity to join a Global platform in Equity Sales Trading. We are looking for a recent University graduate who is smart, ambitious and motivated looking to join the equity sales trading desk within a global investment bank. This is not a graduate program position, but a rare entry level opportunity for a full time job on the trading floor.
What will you do?
Assist in maintaining, developing, and growing key client relationships
Execution of client orders on Australian market for Australian & Global accounts
Ability to develop and write market wraps on daily trading trends
Provide client flow and market information to the RBC Sales desk
Support the sales and trading desk in general administration for all clients
Assist in the production of daily notes and communications to clients
Solicit client orders from overseas branches
Participate in morning meeting and global calls
Assist with executions and reporting of RBCEL orders for their APAC markets
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
Strong interested of Australian equities market & financial markets generally
Relevant tertiary qualifications, please include transcripts with application
Must maintain level of knowledge through CPD
Modelling/Excel skills
Strong communication and written skills
Nice to have
A team player mindset, customer service experience a bonus
Strong work ethic and self starter
