Responsibilities:
Keyword Research:
Assist in conducting keyword research to identify high-value search terms relevant to our industry and target audience.
Analyze keyword performance metrics to inform content optimization strategies.
On-Page Optimization:
Collaborate with content creators to optimize on-page elements, including meta tags, headings, and internal linking structure.
Implement SEO best practices to improve website crawlability, indexation, and user experience.
Content Creation and Optimization:
Support the creation of SEO-friendly content, ensuring alignment with keyword targeting and optimization guidelines.
Optimize existing website content to improve relevancy, readability, and search engine visibility.
Technical SEO:
Assist in identifying and resolving technical issues that may impact website performance, such as crawl errors, site speed optimization, and mobile-friendliness.
Work closely with the technical team to implement SEO recommendations and enhancements.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
Monitor key SEO performance indicators, including organic traffic, keyword rankings, and conversion rates.
Assist in preparing regular reports to track progress and communicate insights to stakeholders.
Competitive Analysis:
Conduct competitive analysis to identify industry trends, benchmark performance, and uncover opportunities for optimization.
Stay updated on algorithm changes and industry developments to adapt strategies accordingly.
Collaboration and Learning:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including content, marketing, and design, to align SEO efforts with broader business objectives.
Continuously learn and stay abreast of SEO best practices, tools, and techniques to enhance skills and contribute to team success.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or related field.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments.
Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and web development concepts.
Familiarity with SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, or Moz.
Passion for digital marketing and a desire to learn and grow in the field of SEO.
Detail-oriented with a proactive attitude and willingness to take initiative.
Prior internship or experience in SEO, digital marketing, or related fields is a plus.
