About this team:

Deloitte’s Information Technology Services (ITS) team is at the forefront of delivering high-quality technical solutions that support our business and enable growth. We develop and manage a variety of cloud-based applications and integrations that empower our people and clients. We are looking for a Junior Software Developer to join our team and help design, build, and maintain secure, scalable, and high-performing applications.

What will your typical day look like?

As a Junior Software Developer at Deloitte, you will work closely with internal teams and stakeholders to develop innovative cloud-based solutions and integrations. In this role, you can expect to:

Develop, maintain, and enhance .NET applications and cloud-based solutions.
Work with Azure services such as App Services, API Gateway, and Logic Apps.
Implement object-oriented programming principles to develop robust back-end solutions.
Build clean, intuitive, and functional user interfaces with end-users in mind.
Collaborate with other developers, review code, and optimize performance.
Use DevOps best practices, including Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery.
Develop automated test cases and configure on-premise applications for migration to Azure.
Ensure applications are developed securely and optimized for performance within the Deloitte environment.
Stay up to date with the latest technologies and suggest improvements for future development.
Qualifications
Enough about us, let’s talk about you. You are someone with:

Minimum of 1 year experience in a full-time IT role, with expertise in software development and cloud-based solutions.
Proficiency in C#, .NET Core, WASM, and Blazor.
Experience with Azure services, including App Services, Service Bus, API Gateway, and Front Door.
Strong understanding of APIs (REST, SOAP) and microservices architecture.
Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform.
Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks.
Proficiency with version control (Git) and DevOps tools (Azure DevOps, CI/CD automation).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
