Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and talented Junior Software Developer with 0 to 2 years of experience in Django to join our development team. As a Junior Software Developer, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced developers and gain hands-on experience in designing, developing, and maintaining web applications using Django framework. Responsibilities:
Collaborate with senior developer to understand project requirements and contribute to the design and implementation of Django-based web applications.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code following best practices and coding standards.
Participate in the entire software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, coding, testing, debugging, and deployment.
Assist in troubleshooting and resolving issues reported by users or identified during testing phases.
Learn and integrate front-end components with Django back-end logic to ensure seamless functionality.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of technical documentation, including project specifications and user guides.
Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in web development, Django, and related technologies.
Collaborate with team members in code reviews, providing and incorporating feedback to improve code quality.
Work on assigned tasks and projects, meeting project deadlines and delivering high-quality work.
Actively participate in team meetings and discussions, contributing ideas and solutions.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (IT, CS), or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong understanding of programming concepts and web development fundamentals.
Familiarity with Python programming language and basic knowledge of Django framework.
Understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Knowledge of database systems, such as PostgreSQL or MySQL.
Proficiency in version control systems, preferably Git.
Good problem-solving and analytical skills, with attention to detail.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Enthusiasm for learning new technologies and willingness to take on challenges.
Ability to work independently as well as in a collaborative team environment.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and deliver quality work.
Preferred:
Experience with Django or web development projects (internships, personal projects, or contributions to open-source projects).
Familiarity with front-end frameworks/libraries like React, Angular, or Vue.js will be a plus point.
Understanding of RESTful APIs and integrating third-party services.
