What we are looking for:
• Computer Science related degree or relevant industry experience
• A good understanding of Oject Oriented Programming concepts
• The ability to use an OOP language (PHP, JavaScript or other)
• The ability to work with HTML, CSS
• A good understanding of the Web
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• Excellent collaboration abilities
• Willingness to learn and grow with the role
What would be desirable:
• Knowledge of database systems, both relational and non-relational
• Knowledge of Linux based systems and ability to work with a terminal
• Git
What you’ll need to do:
You will be part of a close-knit team of skilled software developers focused on building and maintaining the Cavendish Insights software, a SaaS web platform, used both internally within the business and externally by our diverse client base. The platform has a wide range of features including, API data ingestion, aggregation and analytics, insight generation and dashboarding, reporting and notification, AI Data processing, social media integrations and much more.
You will primarily use PHP and JavaScript/TypeScript on a daily basis, leveraging the help of our two main frameworks, Laravel and React.
