About the Internship:
Key responsibilities:
1. Design and develop web applications using Java, Angular, HTML/CSS, and JavaScript
2. Collaborate with the product team to identify and prioritize features for development
3. Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code
4. Develop unit tests and participate in code reviews
5. Troubleshoot and debug issues in production and test environments
6. Participate in Agile development processes, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
7. Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and tooling
8. Mentor junior developers on the team
Requirements:
1. Strong Java programming skills, with experience working with Java frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, or Struts
2. Solid experience with Angular framework and related technologies such as TypeScript and RxJS
3. Experience with front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
4. Experience working with databases, including SQL and NoSQL databases, and an understanding of data modeling concepts
5. Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies, as well as software development best practices such as version control, testing, and deployment
Skills:
1. Ability to analyze and troubleshoot complex issues and come up with creative solutions to solve problems
2. Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
3. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent work experience
4. Good to have investment banking domain knowledge
