Express Recruitment are proud to be continuing our partnership with one of the UK’s SaaS providers, who supply innovative software solutions to critical industries throughout the globe. Due to a host of recent acquisitions, testament to the ongoing success of the organisation and their continued ambition to grow into a global market leader, our client is keen to expand their team with the addition of three Junior Software Product Consultants.
The successful candidate’s primary responsibility will be to learn how to engage with existing and prospective clients across the company’s networks, to understand their business model and recommend and help develop the most enhanced software solutions on the market.
In return, you will receive a competitive starting salary between £25-30k, plus a generous holiday allowance, private medical care, flexible working, and opportunities for hybrid working. Please note, there is an expectancy to attend their Nottingham offices 3 days per week as a minimum, but there may be more future flexible opportunities for hybrid working once fully trained.
Roles & Responsibilities
• Engage daily with current clients to maintain up to date knowledge of their business and recommend upgrades to their current subscribed services
• Reach out to prospective clients and set up introductory meetings to learn more about their business requirements
• Work collaboratively in an Agile environment with internal Software Development/Azure DevOps teams, reporting directly to Senior Product Consultant
• Shadow Senior Product Consultants during frequent workshops to learn how to train internal and external stakeholders on current software platforms and how to brief them of any upgraded services
• Identify opportunities to upskill through various training regimes
• Consult with the Development team to identify any potential areas of improvement relating to the software
• Assist with the delivery of technical presentations and creation of user stories for prospective clients, ensuring open-source software has been suitably modified to reflect targeted company’s personal content
• Support the sales team with strategic planning and development of new sales strategies for the prospective global client market
• Ensure timely and successful product delivery to maintain full customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business
• Ensure legislative and data protection requirements are strictly adhered to
Qualifications & Experience
• Degree qualified in relevant IT or Software subject highly advantageous
• Previous experience working as a Product Consultant, Implementation Consultant, Developer or Software Trainer desirable but not essential as full training provided
• First class interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to present technical information in a clear and concise manner
• Exposure to an Agile environment (DevOps) desirable
• General understanding of cloud technologies and SDLC
• Able to provide concise examples of problem solving and overcoming objections
• Full UK Driving License
