About the Role
We’re looking for a passionate and efficient Junior Sous Chef to lead the daily operations of our central confectionery kitchen . This role is crucial to ensuring high-quality dessert and bakery production for all AA Hospitality brands. You’ll manage production schedules, coordinate with procurement, and ensure timely dispatches to multiple restaurant outlets.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily production of desserts, pastries, and bakery items for all units.
Ensure quality, consistency, and presentation standards are met at all times.
Coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely supply of ingredients.
Maintain inventory and raise indents as required.
Lead and train a small team of chefs and kitchen staff.
Plan production schedules aligned with outlet requirements and order volumes .
Ensure all dispatches are accurate, timely, and meet food safety standards.
Work closely with the culinary head and outlet chefs for seasonal and promotional menus.
Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Culinary Arts / Hotel Management (preferred but not mandatory).
4–6 years of hands-on experience in pastry and bakery , ideally in a central or hotel kitchen setup.
Strong understanding of dessert production timelines, hygiene, and food safety .
Leadership abilities with a knack for managing kitchen teams .
Organized, punctual, and excellent at multitasking.
