We are seeking a talented Junior Structural Engineer, with 1-3 years of work experience, for our Mumbai office to take part in the structural design of exciting national projects. Local Mumbai candidates ONLY. This is an office-based position with no WFH. This role requires a proactive and detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple tasks efficiently and effectively. The Junior Engineer will play a key role in working with the team on projects. The candidate currently must be a Junior Structural Engineer post minimum at the current workplace. Total work hours per week is - 10 AM TO 7 PM will be required from Monday to Saturday. You should also know how to work with social media and computers. You should be proficient with MS Office Suite. There is a lot of room to grow in the future for the ideal candidate where the company will support the ideal candidate to learn many new skills and guide their career as they desire.

Agrawal Structural Consultants was formed with the vision of designing sustainable infrastructure and providing value to clients. The founder Gaurav has a vision of establishing a legacy and changing the country's footprint. You will be helping in the design and analysis of buildings made of concrete and steel and other materials as well. There will be minimal on-the-job training for said software.

Responsibilities:

· Design reinforced concrete and structural steel structures.

· Analyze gravity and lateral load-resisting systems

· Update and create Excel spreadsheets on various designs and analyses.

· Design and detail structural elements

· Create drawings in Revit, and Autocad and communicate with CAD Technician

· Coordinate drawings with other disciplines (Architects, MEP Engineers, etc.)

· Respond to RFI’s and review shop drawings

· Visit construction sites

· Minimal on-the-job training will be provided.

Requirements:

· Master’s degree or 5-year equivalent degree in Civil, Structural Engineering with a minimum CGPA of 8.0

· Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a structural engineer working on designing buildings. Current students and Freshers do not apply.

· Need to have a good understanding of load paths for gravity and lateral loads and Indian codes and standards for concrete and steel – IS456, IS18+3, IS800, IS875, IS16700, SP16, SP34, etc.

· Good knowledge about the behavior of structures and rules of thumb.

· Experience with ETABS, SAFE, advanced Excel and its functions, Revit, and AUTOCAD.

· Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work within a team

· Strong organizational skills

· Effective written and verbal communication abilities.
