You’ll be someone who can work pro-actively, managing your own tasks, but you’ll also be confident collaborating with others, communicating regularly with Managers, Directors, and BDO’s Partners to enable us to serve our clients effectively.
The primary responsibility will be to deal with all matters relating to the sale, management and hands on delivery of tax technology projects to a portfolio of clients. You will work with Partners, Directors, and Managers in relation to client work within the North Tax Technology Team.
The role
The role also requires the individual to actively seek and keep the Managers, Partners and Directors informed about any developments with existing and new clients.
Project involvement:
Develop and implement Tax Technology products and deliver Tax Technology advisory services to a wide range of clients.
Assist in the management of a portfolio of clients including control of client take on and engagement, billings, and identification of opportunities to improve recoveries, together with cash collection.
Develops professional relationships with clients and within the Firm and adapts the approach for the relevant audience.
Understands potential risks to the Firm in relation to the Firm’s quality control procedures and raising to the appropriate person.
An in depth, up to date, knowledge of a variety of technologies and programming languages and technology tools, in particular, one or more of: automation platforms such as Alteryx, Knime, Power Query, Power Automate; data analytics platforms such as Power BI; automation programming languages such as Python; database languages such as SQL; or equivalents.
Ability to manage a client portfolio profitably by managing their own time effectively and efficiently.
Educated to degree level and/or CTA and/or ACA qualified or equivalent
