Junior Technical Specialist, GBS
Hydro Global Business Services (GBS) is an organizational area that operates as an internal service provider for the Hydro group. Its ultimate purpose is to deliver relevant IT, financial and HR business services to all business areas within the company.
ROLE PURPOSE:
Hydro is seeking for junior resource for supporting Regular functional and ongoing regular activities in AX for NA region In particular, technical resources with knowledge of AX, ticket management and good communicator.
Purpose of Junior Technical Specialists:
Junior developer will be given KT of ongoing regular activities on AX and other NA applications. That will be initially worked as a backup and then provide support to Hydro locations in NA.
Responsibilities:
• Get the understanding of Hydro's different business areas.
• Provide support on issues or delivering service requests for the business.
• Learn and implement various technologies specially cloud.
• Troubleshoot issues with reports in global and regional data warehouse
• Support all global and regional (Asia) data warehouse initiatives
Work Experience : 1-2 years programming experience with any of these technologies .Net/Java hands-on
Industry Experience: Experience in finance and manufacturing environment is preferred
Education : Engineering, MCA or Masters or similar
Licensing/Certification : ITIL is preferred
Functional Knowledge: Solid understanding of the business processes related to the business application(s) concerned
Technical Knowledge : Good understanding of any programming language or knowledge of cloud (Azure/AWS) will be advantage
Language : Fluency in English (verbal and written)
Project Management: Knowledge of basic project management procedures within IT
Change Management : Knowledge of basic change management procedures within IT
Customer : Customer oriented through striving to understand business needs and through providing with appropriate solutions
Vendor : Consult; Manage outsourced application services
