Job Description
Globe Enterprises, located in Nehru Place, New Delhi, is seeking an enthusiastic Junior Textile Designer to join our dynamic team for a full time on site role. As specialists in home furnishings, we are dedicated to crafting innovative woven textile designs that enrich living spaces.
Responsibilities:
Assist in designing and developing home furnishing products, primarily in the area of weaves (yarn dyed woven), that resonate with current market trends and consumer preferences.
Support research activities to identify emerging trends, color palettes, and techniques, contributing to fresh design concepts and comprehensive collections.
Participate in all stages of product development from concept initiation to final prototype.
Collaborate with a small team of designers under guidance to learn and contribute to projects.
Gain experience in trade shows and buyer meetings, including booth setup, showroom setup, visual merchandising, and customer interaction.
Qualifications:
Fresher, with a degree in Textile Design (TDD) from NIFT or other reputed design institutes.
Strong foundational knowledge of woven fabrics and textile construction. Exposure to embroideries and prints is beneficial.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Photoshop, is mandatory.
