Position Overview:
We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Video Editor and Videographer to join our creative team at our Whitefield, Bangalore office. This position is ideal for freshers or individuals with up to 1 year of experience in video production and editing. The successful candidate will have a foundational understanding of video editing software, specifically Adobe Premiere Pro and Davinci Resolve. This role involves creating high-quality social media videos, and promotional videos, and participating in on-site video shoots using gimbal stabilizers.
Key Responsibilities:
• Video Editing:
• Assist in editing engaging social media videos, promo videos, and other digital content using Adobe Premiere Pro and Davinci Resolve.
• Ensure video content meets the brand guidelines and project requirements.
• Apply basic editing techniques including trimming, transitions, and simple effects.
• Videography:
• Support the planning and execution of video shoots for various projects.
• Operate video cameras, lighting equipment, and audio recording devices under supervision.
• Utilize gimbals to achieve smooth and professional video footage during shoots.
• Content Creation:
• Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to understand project goals and deliverables.
• Contribute to brainstorming sessions for video content ideas and concepts.
• Provide creative input during the editing process to enhance video quality and engagement.
• Technical Support:
• Assist in maintaining video production equipment and ensure its proper use.
• Stay updated with the latest video editing trends and tools.
• Participate in training sessions to develop and improve video production skills.
• Collaboration and Learning:
• Work closely with senior video editors and videographers to gain hands-on experience.
• Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth project execution.
• Seek feedback and guidance to continuously improve video editing and shooting techniques.
Qualifications:
• Experience: 0-1 year of professional experience in video editing and videography; freshers are welcome.
• Software Skills: Basic proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Davinci Resolve.
• Technical Skills: Understanding of video production equipment and techniques, including the use of gimbals.
• Creative Skills: Strong interest in storytelling and visual content creation.
• Organizational Skills: Ability to manage time effectively and meet project deadlines.
• Communication Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Education: Bachelor's degree or diploma in Film Production, Media Arts, Communication, or a related field is preferred.
