Junior Web Developer

Job Title: Junior Web Developer (WordPress, Shopify)We are seeking a skilled and ambitious junior Web Developer with a minimum of 1 year of experience in WordPress, Shopify, and theme-based development. The ideal candidate will be proficient in handling front-end and back-end coding tasks for WordPress and Shopify websites, with expertise in WooCommerce, AJAX, and WebGL technologies.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with senior web developers and project managers to understand project requirements and translate them into WordPress and Shopify themes and plugins.Develop, test, and maintain WordPress and Shopify websites, ensuring code quality and adherence to best practices.Handle front-end development tasks, including creating responsive web designs, implementing UI/UX designs, and optimizing website performance for WordPress and Shopify platforms.Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and other relevant technologies, while adhering to coding standards and best practices.Troubleshoot and debug website issues, including cross-browser compatibility, performance, and security concerns, for WordPress, Shopify, and theme-based websites.Stay up-to-date with the latest web development trends, tools, and technologies, including WooCommerce, AJAX, WebGL, and other relevant technologies, and continuously improve technical skills.Collaborate with other team members, including designers and content creators, to ensure seamless integration of website features and functionality for WordPress, Shopify, and theme-based websites.Manage WooCommerce setups, including configuring products, inventory, payment gateways, and shipping settings for e-commerce websites.Develop custom functionalities using AJAX, WebGL, and other relevant technologies to enhance user experience and interactivity on websites.Customize and extend themes for WordPress, Shopify, and theme-based websites to meet client requirements.RequirementsMinimum 1 year of job experience in web development, with a focus on WordPress, Shopify, and theme-based coding.Strong proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP, and other relevant web technologies.Familiarity with WordPress theme and plugin development, including custom theme development, customization of existing themes, and plugin customization.Experience with Shopify theme development, including creating custom themes, customizing existing themes, and working with Shopify Liquid language.Knowledge of WooCommerce setup and management, including configuring products, inventory, payment gateways, and shipping settings.Understanding of responsive web design principles and mobile-first development.Proficiency in AJAX, WebGL, and other relevant technologies to enhance user experience and interactivity.Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.Familiarity with website performance optimization techniques.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and teamwork skills.If you are a highly motivated and talented Junior Web Developer with expertise in WordPress, Shopify, and theme-based development, and a passion for web development using WooCommerce, AJAX, WebGL, and other relevant technologies, we would love to hear from you.
