About Us:
The Justice Officer is a position in Corporate Governance and Support team with the Department of Justice and Community Safety (DJCS), North West Metropolitan Area (NWMA).
The North West Metropolitan Area (NWMA) accounts for approximately 1800 staff across 21 sites. These sites are located in either the North or West of the Area and deliver a range of services including: custodial services at prisons, Community Correctional Services, Youth Justice Services, Sheriff's Operations, Consumer Affairs, front of house enquiries (including Births, Deaths and Marriages applications) and management of community services (including Victims' Support across the area). In addition, there are two Executive Officer roles of the Regional Aboriginal Justice Advisory Council, West and North.
About the Role:
The Justice Officer role is to deliver friendly, efficient customer service to clients of the Department of Justice and Community Safety who report to CCS Reservoir. As part of the role you will also consistent, timely and accurate administrative support to regional locations and staff.
Some of your duties will include:
Providing a range of high quality and efficient front of house administrative services, such as Consumer Affairs or Births, Deaths and Marriages enquiries and applications, and other services relevant to the location.
Providing information and assistance to clients, internal and external stakeholders and the public including the collation, review and processing of applications.
Providing reception and telephone responses for the location.
