About the Business Unit:
As part of the Corrections and Justice Services (CJS) group, the Dame Phyllis Frost Centre (DPFC) is a 694-bed maximum-security facility for female offenders located within the West Metropolitan Region, Department of Justice, and Community Safety.
About the Role:
The Justice Officer - Stores and Canteen provides stores and canteen services, in accordance with the Financial Management Act 1994, other government regulations and guidelines and DPFC local operating procedures
Some of your duties will include:
As part of the Stores and Canteen Team, and under direction and supervision, providing high stores and canteen services, in accordance with the Financial Management Act 1994, other government regulations and guidelines and DPFC local operating procedures.
Preparing stock estimates, obtain quotes, organise purchases to maintain stock levels, undertake regular stock-takes, maintain accurate records and maintain the stores and prisoner canteen in good order.
Assisting in operating the Prisoners' shop and updating prisoner records on SPEND and Prisoner Telephone systems.

About You:
As our ideal candidate, you will possess:
Well-developed computer literacy.
Understanding of store and warehousing operations including associated stock management, delivery / service requirements and OHS practices.
Experience with Oracle or similar finance related system is desirable.
Experience with prison financial processes is desirable.
