Job Description: Reservation Associate
Company Overview:
RJ Hospitality, headquartered in Brooklyn with a corporate office operating in Viman Nagar, Pune, is dedicated to providing exceptional service and memorable experiences for our guests. You will be working in Pune, handling our hotel brands in the USA.
Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and professional Reservation Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring seamless reservation experiences for our clients. Your responsibilities will include handling incoming reservations, providing accurate information, and ensuring overall customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Reservation Management:
- Efficiently handle incoming reservation requests via phone, email, and online platforms.
- Verify and confirm reservation details, including dates, room types, and special requests.
- Process payments and provide accurate billing information.
- Manage reservation modifications and cancellations.
- Customer Service:
- Deliver outstanding customer service by addressing inquiries and promptly resolving issues.
- Build strong relationships with clients and maintain a positive company image.
- Stay informed about company policies, procedures, and product offerings.
- Data Entry and Management:
- Accurately enter and update reservation information into the property management system.
- Maintain detailed records and reports as required.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- A minimum of 1 year of front desk experience in the hospitality industry, preferably in reservations.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Hospitality Management or a related field is preferred.
- Previous experience with Hilton, Marriott, or IHG is highly desirable.
- Ability to work USA timing (evening shift from 5:30 PM to 2:30 AM) is a requirement.
Additional Skills (Desirable):
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
- Knowledge of various reservation systems (e.g., Opera, PMS).
- Experience in handling customer complaints and resolving conflicts.
- Multilingual abilities (especially fluency in (relevant languages)).
