Job Summary :
Client is looking for Kafka Developer and this is remote position from India.
Responsibilities :
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain Kafka Connectors and clusters.
• Manage Connector Configurations (Sink and Source).
• Create Connector instances for individual tables.
• Convert Protobuf data format to JSON while interacting with ServiceNow.
• Convert JSON data format to Protobuf and push to Kafka using Confluent REST Proxy connectors.
• Develop Java applications to build business logic for data format conversion.
• Manage custom ingesters to push data from Kafka to ServiceNow.
• Utilize CI / CD practices, including Docker and containerization, for service management and deployment.
Required Skills and Experience :
• Design, develop, maintain scalable and reliable streaming solutions.
• Working experience in Kafka and any other streaming technologies along with strong knowledge on Python, Flink.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams (Software Engineers, Product Managers, Designers etc.)
• Optimize Streaming workflows to ensure high performance, low latency, and efficient resource utilization.
• Trouble shoot and resolve issues on the fly.
• Document Streaming architecture, configurations, and best practices.
• Familiarity with containerization ( AKS) and Airflow knowledge is a plus.
• Strong communication and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
