Duties
As a Kennel Attendant, your responsibilities will include:
Providing daily care for animals, including feeding, grooming, and exercising dogs.
Cleaning and maintaining kennel areas to ensure a safe and sanitary environment.
Monitoring the health and behavior of animals, and reporting any concerns.
Assisting with customer service duties, including greeting clients and answering questions about services offered.
Handling heavy lifting tasks such as moving food supplies, bedding, and equipment as needed.
Ensuring that all animals receive proper attention and affection during their stay.
Experience
The ideal candidate will possess:
Previous experience in animal care or a related field is preferred but not required.
Strong customer service skills to interact effectively with pet owners and team members.
Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently.
Ability to work outdoors in all climates.
A genuine love for animals and a commitment to their welfare.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
