Duties
Assist customers in selecting art supplies, providing product recommendations, and answering questions about our inventory
Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the store, including shelves, displays, and work areas
Process sales transactions accurately using our point-of-sale system
Restock merchandise as needed to ensure product availability for customers
Support inventory management through receiving shipments and updating stock records
Participate in store events or promotional activities to engage with the community
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth daily operations and excellent customer experiences
Requirements
Passion for art, creativity, or related fields is a plus but not required
Excellent communication skills and a friendly, approachable demeanor
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
Prior retail or customer service experience is advantageous but not mandatory; training will be provided
Must be reliable, punctual, and eager to learn about art supplies and techniques
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed
