Job Description
The R.M. of Wallace-Woodworth is seeking a motivated individual for the position of Kenton
LUD/Ward 1 Office Manager at the Kenton Municipal Office. This position is structured as full-
time; however, flexible arrangements may be considered for candidates seeking part-time hours.
The Kenton LUD/Ward 1 Office Manager reports to the Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) and
will be responsible for performing administrative and clerical duties related to the operation of
the Municipality.
Duties and responsibilities
Providing customer service in a professional and positive manner
Front desk reception and cash clerk duties
Municipal water utility billing for Ward 1
Preparing detailed reports to support effective decision-making
Assisting the Transportation Department, Utility Department, and the CAO as required
Performing data entry and tracking in the Request Management System
Supporting the administration of the Municipal Safety Program
Preparing documentation and minutes for monthly LUD meetings
Assisting with the organization and promotion of local recreational programming
Performing other duties as assigned
Skills and Qualifications
High school diploma (minimum); additional administrative training is an asset
Strong written and oral communication skills
Excellent planning, research, and organizational skills with a high degree of accuracy and
attention to detail
Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
Ability to work both independently and cooperatively in a small office setting
Previous administrative experience is considered an asset
Certificate in Manitoba Municipal Administration (CMMA) is an asset
Willingness to enroll in the CMMA program if not already completed
Knowledge of safety programs is considered an asset
