Introduction
We at Ketto, are searching for a Laravel developer to build our web application. In this role, you will design and create projects using Laravel framework and PHP, and assist the team in delivering a high-quality web application and tools for our businesses. You will be responsible for leveraging your expertise and experience of the framework to produce complete solutions in a short turnaround time.
Responsibilities
• Discussing project aims with the development team
• Designing and building our web application using Laravel
• Troubleshooting issues in the implementation and debug builds
• Working with front-end and back-end developers on projects
• Testing functionality for users and the backend
• Ensuring that integrations run smoothly
• Scaling projects based on feedback
• Recording and reporting on work done in Laravel
• Presenting work in meetings with internal stakeholders
What You Bring To The Table
• Work experience of 3-5 years as a Laravel developer
• In-depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP, Laravel 5 PHP Framework
• Experience in unit testing frameworks like PHPUnit
• Good knowledge of MySQL, database designing and query optimization techniques
• Hands-on experience in RESTful API design and development including implementation of oAuth2 for authentication and authorization
• Working knowledge of version controlling systems like Git, clear understanding of Gitflow workflow, and repository management tools like BitBucket
• Experience in Lumen (micro-framework) will be an added advantage
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
