Lancemore Mansion Hotel are currently seeking a Kitchen Hand/ Steward to join our Kitchen team. Reporting to the Executive Chef, you will assist in maintaining a clean and functional working environment.
Do you thrive off a pumping environment? This is a great role to assist the business during peak times. There is potential for the right candidates to join the team on casual basis.
To be successful in this role it is preferable that you have:
Ability in handling chemical
An understanding of a commercial kitchen
Ability to work around dishwasher/ Hot Kitchen
Availability to participate in a 7 day working roster of days, nights, weekends and public holidays
Ability to work under pressure in a high volume, fast paced environment
Initiative and be a team player
Moderate amount of wight lifting required
Good personal presentation and communication skills
Self-motivation, can do attitude
The successful candidates will have the opportunity to work in our Functions kitchen as required.
