: We are seeking experienced Senior Designers specializing in kids' fashion (Girls and Boys) for spunkies (www.spunkies.com). The ideal candidate should possess a degree from NIFT or Pearl and have a minimum of 3 years of experience in domestic or retail fashion/apparel industry. Responsibilities: Stay updated on fashion forecasts, international trends, and market surveys. Develop innovative and commercially viable themes for each season. Source raw materials such as fabrics and trims from both Indian and global markets. Plan and design various categories of kids' clothing, including woven and knits for girls and boys. Create high-quality initial samples with attention to fit, finishing, and style, adhering to international standards and timelines. Proficient in embroidery (machine and hand) and printing techniques. Perform freehand sketching and create computer-generated graphics and flats using software like Photoshop, Illustrator, and Corel Draw. Approve fabrics, trims, fit, and placement of surface treatments for production. Supervise team members, providing guidance and motivation to ensure objectives are met and deadlines are achieved. Desired Candidate Profile: Education: UG in Fashion Designing or any other specialization, PG in Fashion Designing or any other specialization. Doctorate not required. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience. Excellent knowledge of fashion trends and market analysis. Proficiency in sourcing materials and managing suppliers. Strong skills in designing, sketching, and creating graphics using relevant software. Attention to detail, quality, and fit. Ability to lead and motivate a team to achieve objectives and meet deadlines
