Location:
IGA Ashfield, Perth
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Making watermelon slices and fruit salads
Slicing, weighing, wrapping, and labelling products
Preparing fresh sandwiches, salads, wraps, and ready-to-go meals
Baking muffins, slices, cookies, and hot food such as roast chickens
Using creativity to prepare food based on available ingredients and seasonal produce
Stocking and rotating fresh produce, maintaining accurate pricing and quality standards
Setting up and maintaining appealing deli, bakery, and produce displays
Maintaining cleanliness and following strict food safety and hygiene practices
What we’re looking for:
Quick learner
A proactive, positive, and can-do attitude
Reliable, punctual, and able to work early mornings
Organised and efficient, with great attention to detail
Passion for food and creativity to share new ideas with the team
Able to work well independently and in a team
It'll be great if you have prior experience in kitchen, deli, café or fresh food preparation (preference)!
