Job Description
We are currently seeking a dedicated Kitchen Hand to join our Food and Beverage team at Oaks Wellington Hotel. In this role, you will assist our chefs in the kitchen, ensuring smooth operations and maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and efficiency. This part time position primarily involves morning shifts, with occasional evening shifts.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist with food preparation and ensure ingredients are ready for cooking.
Maintain a clean and organized kitchen by washing dishes, utensils, and cleaning surfaces.
Assemble and prepare ingredients for cooking, following kitchen guidelines.
Pack food and beverage trays for service, ensuring proper presentation and accuracy.

Qualifications
A friendly, professional demeanor is essential for creating a supportive and efficient team environment.
Ability to work across a Monday to Sunday roster with both morning and evening shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Maintain high standards of cleanliness and follow food safety protocols, ensuring all kitchen tasks comply with health and safety regulations.
A basic understanding of cooking and kitchen processes is beneficial, along with a willingness to learn and assist chefs in food preparation.
Able to work efficiently within a team, supporting colleagues and ensuring smooth kitchen operations through good communication.
Accuracy in food preparation, presentation, and cleaning is essential to maintaining our kitchen’s high standards.
