Little Angels, powered by the Y NSW operate Long Day Care Centres in Pagewood Green and Mascot Central. We place great emphasis on developing strong relationships with our children, their families, and the wider community. Prior experience in a similar role is desirable, however for the right person, on the job training and support will be provided.
About the role
Join our passionate team and make a real difference in children's lives every single day! As our Kitchen Assistant, you'll play a vital role in nurturing young minds through nutritious, delicious meals. Your responsibilities will include:
Prepare nutritionally balanced and appropriate meals for all children, taking into consideration dietary requirements and allergies
Ensure health and safety guidelines are adhered to in the kitchen
Maintain kitchen cleanliness, ensuring that general day to day procedures are followed
Weekly online food shopping
About you

Essential
Able to work collaboratively within both the Kitchen and throughout the service
Available to work Monday through Friday
Current or willing to undertake NSW Working With Children Check
Willing to undertake National and International (if applicable) Police Check
Desirable
Food Safety Supervisor (FSS) Certification
Experience managing dietary and allergy requirements
