Job Summary:
The focus of this position is to assist with preparation, serving, and clean up for congregate and home-delivered meals, youth, and school meals. This position is also responsible for assisting with food preparation, dishwashing, sanitizing work areas, and cleaning equipment, appliances, and floors.
Qualifications and Requirements:
• Be able to work independently to a degree, follow directions, and be efficient and accurate.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with others.
• Must be able to read and follow verbal directions.
• Represent Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota (LSS) in a professional manner through adhering to dress code and personal hygiene practices.
• Represent LSS as the provider of this service, engaging with diners to promote a welcoming and inviting atmosphere.
• Valid driver's license preferred.
• Must be cleared by a Bureau of Criminal Affairs (BCA) background study and have a driver's license; a Motor Vehicle Check (MVR) is required.
