Job Description:

Ensuring the highest quality of food and appealing presentation requires attention to detail by Team Members in this job. Stocking and sanitation duties cannot be overlooked as they contribute to customers' overall experience.

Responsibilities:

• Adheres to the production sheets when preparing food items for the cold case, fresh pack, salad, and hot bars.

• Executes food preparation with precision and accuracy by following recipe instructions.

• Maintaining food safety and quality requires the constant monitoring and rotation of all prepared items, along with careful labeling and attention to storage conditions.

• Ensures adequate food supply is maintained at all times through regular monitoring and restocking.

• Attends work station on time, appropriately attired, well-presented and prepared for work; executes all scheduled shifts and participates in all necessary trainings and meetings.

• Delivers outstanding customer service by addressing customer needs quickly and effectively and exemplifying suggestive selling abilities; responds to phone calls and pages courteously and promptly.

• Optimizes sales capacity through effective and correct procedures for preparing, housing, exhibiting, rotating and marketing products.

• Follows predetermined procedures, such as Weights and Measures, sanitation, and workplace safety practices, to guarantee compliance.

• Keeping the working and shopping environment clean and sanitized is the worker's top priority. The employee should also maintain all equipment according to WFM's safety and cleanliness procedures and ensure that the walk-ins and freezers are well-organized.

• Executes opening, mid, and closing responsibilities as instructed and ascertains the correctness of pricing and signs.

• The timely notification of safety hazards and violations cannot be stressed enough.

• Responds to any additional responsibilities allocated by the store, regional, or national executives.

• The amount of time required to stand or walk during an 8-hour work day can range from 6-8 hours.

• From picking up small objects to exerting directional force on larger items, the complexity and versatility of hand use are crucial for many activities.

• Work demands the utilization of specific physical motions, including bending, twisting, squatting and reaching, which together are integral components of the job.

• Exposing oneself to cleaning products certified by the FDA.

• High temperatures may cause equipment and electronics to malfunction or even become damaged beyond repair.

• Efficiency in being able to carry out work proficiently despite fluctuations in humidity.

• The willingness to work flexible hours, including night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.

• Skilled in the efficient operation of tools and equipment, such as knives, box cutters, electric pallet jacks, and heavy machinery.
