Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Bakery & Pastry Kitchen Helper (Commi-2) to join our team at a cafe in Mapusa, North Goa. The successful candidate will assist the Bakery & Pastry Chef in preparing and producing high-quality baked goods, pastries, and desserts.
Key Responsibilities
1. Assist Bakery & Pastry Chef: Assist the Bakery & Pastry Chef in preparing and producing baked goods, pastries, and desserts.
2. Maintain Kitchen Cleanliness: Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to health and safety standards.
3. Prepare Ingredients: Prepare ingredients for baking, including measuring, mixing, and preparing dough.
4. Assist with Plating: Assist with plating and garnishing baked goods, pastries, and desserts.
5. Maintain Inventory: Assist with maintaining inventory levels of baking supplies and ingredients.
Requirements
1. Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience as a kitchen helper or commi-2 in a bakery or cafe environment.
2. Qualifications: Basic education and training in baking and pastry arts.
3. Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, attention to detail, and excellent teamwork skills.
4. Certifications: Food safety certification and knowledge of HACCP principles.
