Department: Food & Beverage – Kitchen
Reports To: Chef de Partie / Sous Chef
Job Summary:
The Kitchen Helper assists chefs and kitchen staff with basic food preparation, cleaning, and organizing duties to ensure smooth kitchen operations.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in basic food prep tasks such as peeling, chopping, and portioning.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, workstations, and utensils.
• Receive and store food supplies properly.
• Dispose of waste and keep the kitchen tidy.
• Assist in plating dishes and organizing ingredients for cooking.
• Follow all hygiene, food safety, and sanitation standards.
• Perform other duties assigned by senior kitchen staff.
Skills & Qualifications:
• No formal education required; basic kitchen knowledge preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Physically fit and able to work long hours in a hot kitchen.
• Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
• Good hygiene and cleanliness practices.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹12,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
