THE ROLE

As a Kitchen Helper, you assist with providing an excellent customer experience in our military messes, golf and curling operations and marinas.

The Kitchen Helper will provide a variety of services such as setting up dining areas for functions and cleaning the kitchen and dining areas and ensuring the kitchen is organized. You will receive, prepare dishes for washing, wash dishes and store them in an appropriate storage area. You will sweep and mop floors and stock items as required.

QUALIFICATIONS NEEDED

Education, Certifications and Licenses

High school diploma AND some years of food service experience

OR An acceptable combination of education, training, and experience will also be considered

Food Handling Certification, as required

Experience

In dishwashing

In general kitchen help duties

Competencies

Client focus, organizational knowledge, communication, innovation, teamwork and leadership.

English Essential / Bilingual an asset
