Kitchen Porter – Maldron Hotel Liverpool
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Kitchen Porter in the Maldron Hotel Liverpool City
With a prime location near the Liverpool waterfront, this 268 bedroomed hotel is the first in the city for Dalata Hotel Group, the fastest growing hotel chain in the UK. And with a variety of bedroom options, an exciting Meeting & Events product as well as a spacious, contemporary Bar which will become a hotspot in the city, the hotel is on track to become one of Liverpool's most favourite leisure and business destinations!
We are seeking an energetic and experienced Kitchen Porter who will embody our culture and values, and really represent Maldron Liverpool City by supporting the Kitchen Team during their daily operatrions.
Objective of the Role
Reporting to the Head /Sous Chef, the Kitchen Porter will support the chef and kitchen team in maintaining hygiene & cleanliness levels in the kitchens.
Key Duties And Responsibilities
• Maintaining a supply of clean ware / cooking ware & kitchen utensils at all times
• Responsible for the cleanliness of the kitchens at all times
• Work alongside the chef team to maintain HACCP standards
Requirements
• Previous experience working in a kitchen.
• Flexibility in working hours as role includes mornings/evenings & weekends
• Ability to work as part of a team or on own initiative
