We are looking for a committed Kitchen Porter for our Crowne Plaza Reading East ( M4 Jct 10) Eskdale Road, Winnersh Wokingham RG41 5TS
Located adjacent to the Winnersh Triangle station, and within very close proximity of Reading and Wokingham, this very busy hotel consists of 174 bedrooms with 8 conference suites for up to 180 in the largest suite, 2 AA Caprice Fine Dining Restaurant & Terrace, Monty's Lounge bar and Esprit Fitness and Spa
The Role of the Kitchen Porter
The kitchen has a 5 star EHO rating and the role of the kitchen porter is essential in ensuring that these exceptional standards of cleanliness are maintained every day
Ideal candidates should have previous experience as a kitchen porter in a branded restaurant or hotel environment
You will be required to maintain very high standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen at all times including the pot wash area, floors, walls, oven ranges, buffet counter etc
Hours of work generally 15.30 – 23.30 over 5 days per week including weekends
You should have positive references and a stable previous employment record
