Job Description
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the kitchen, including loading, running, and unloading the dish machine
Sort and rinse dirty dishes, glassware, and other cooking utensils, and place them in racks to send through the dish machine
Sort and stack clean and dry dishes
Transport clean dishes to the cook's line and other storage areas
Change dishwater in the dish machine every hour
Monitor and report any functional or mechanical problems immediately
Work Environment:
The work environment for Dish Machine Operators includes a large kitchen setting with high noise levels, constant exposure to chemicals, food allergens, and slippery/uneven surfaces.
Requirements:
Must have and maintain an active Handlers' Card (ServSafe)
Maintain an exceptional personal record of punctuality and attendance
Consistently perform all duties in a responsible and efficient manner
