Kitchen Steward - General Helper
Location: Prudhoe Bay
Full Time, Rotational (3 Weeks on, 3 Weeks off)

Join Brooks Camp as a Camp Kitchen Steward and enjoy working with a dynamic hospitality crew bringing comfort and leisure to the northern arctic landscape of remote Alaska. You’ll be working closely with our Head Chef and a fantastic team of Kitchen Stewards and Cooks. This role is perfect for those who are eager to dive into food preparation, kitchen upkeep, and helping us serve top-notch meals to our camp guests.

About the Team:
• You are joining a North Slope-based division within Colville and a team that works hard to support each other every day

• Accelerate your Kitchen experience while working alongside culinary professionals.
As a Camp Kitchen Steward, you will:
• Put Safety First: Ensure a safe and hygienic kitchen environment by adhering to all food safety protocols, using equipment properly, and maintaining cleanliness to prevent accidents and foodborne illnesses.
• Support the Head Chef: Assist with various kitchen tasks and coordinate activities in a bustling food service area.
• Maintain Stock: Ensure food service areas and storage rooms are well-stocked and organized.
• Keep It Clean: Wash dishes, utensils, and equipment. Clean and maintain dining and kitchen areas to keep them sparkling.
• Food Prep & Cooking: Help with preparing food, cooking vegetables, entrees, sauces, and more.
Qualifications:
• No prior kitchen experience required.
• Ability to pass a pre-hire non-DOT Drug Test (7-Panel) and a Fit-for-Duty exam.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• The capability to exceed a 12hr work shift and cover additional shifts as necessary.
