Delaware North Australia is looking for skilled Kitchen Stewards to join our culinary team at the iconic Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG) on a casual basis. As a Kitchen Steward, you will play a crucial role in ensuring cleanliness, order, and efficiency in the kitchen, contributing to the smooth functioning of the kitchen operations.

What will you do?
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in all kitchen areas
Ensure WHS compliance by conducting temperature and quality checks and preventing cross-contamination
Support kitchen staff in maintaining an organised and efficient workspace
Perform hands-on cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, dish-washing, and waste management
Demonstrate flexibility by working various shifts over a 7-day roster
More about you
Previous experience as a kitchen steward or in a similar role is preferred
Food Safety Certificate, or willingness to obtain one
Valid Working With Children Check (employee version) is mandatory for all staff
